Expert People and Organizational Development (m/f/d)

For a good 100 years develops in Europe and worldwide active enterprises for the industry, solutions which allow a lasting use of resources.

By next possible appointment, we search for the location of our headquarter in the Düsseldorf / Cologne area on the left bank of the Rhine (sites) for a hands-on contributor, supporting the design and delivery of people -and organizational development throughout the company. To achieve our strategic and operational plans, you support the business and its leaders in Talent Development and Organizational Change management. Your reporting line is directly dedicated to the Director HR&IT Europe. Part-time 80% could be possible.

Key responsibilities

  • You support organizational development and change topics based on the business strategy:
    • Including design and delivery of change management interventions
    • Coaching of departmental and initiatives heads in leading change
    • Development of change agent network across the company
    • Design and support the further development of the company‘s strategic people objectives to get a continuously improving learning organization and to create an engaging people work environment for all employees
  • People Development:
    • Including design and delivery of in-house events (e.g. training, workshops, coaching)
    • Support for talent reviews and succession planning
    • Support line managers and local HR in the design and delivery of appropriate development measures for employees and team
  • Design and implement “my-learning”,
    • including advice and support of managers
    • Lead the construction of development journeys/ plans
    • Own and continuously develop a skill master matrix
  • Design and implement “Company-Academy, including identification of their own trainers and their qualification needs
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve people development processes feeding into HR platform, including oversee and support annual appraisal process, develop/implement induction program and liaise with other HR functions
  • Provide training and education to local HR managers on personnel development related issues

 Knowledge, experience and education

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business or social sciences, psychology or equivalent qualification
  • At least 7 years of profound experience in the design and implementation of people and leadership development, change, training, and communication
  • Facilitation, presentation, and coaching education
  • Working experience/knowledge about „lean-management“ and „6-Sigma“
  • Skills for open and trusting cooperation across all levels of hierarchy in changing roles as designer, support, facilitator, consultant, coach, and mentor (remote face-to-face)
  • Enforcement and operational implementation strength as well as strong analytical skills combined with a structured approach
  • Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel (about 30%)
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
